Dr. P. Rajendran, retired Professor (Horticulture), worked as Associate Director of Research at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Ambalavayal and Special Officer of the College of Agriculture, Wayanad, Kerala Agricultural University. He is a well-known Horticulturist who graduated (B.Sc. Agriculture) from the College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Agricultural University in 1980 ICAR Junior Fellowship. He completed his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and was selected for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Molecular Biology by Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. Soon after that, Dr. Rajendran was offered the three-years Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Molecular Genetics by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the King Faisal University. He was selected for the Commonwealth Fellowship for higher studies in the United Kingdom by the Government of India in 1990.
Dr. Rajendran has handled more than 100 Research Projects (Externally funded Projects), authored 4 books and has published more than 100 National and International research publications. He is also the recipient of several International Awards – Including the Best Citizen of India Award 2015, Global Excellence Award 2016 & ISHS, Medal 2016, Global Excellence award 2016 of the Global Brotherhood Forum. International HALL OF FAME award 2018 of the Civil Society, India, New Delhi.
Adv. Rema K P, the better half of Dr. P Rajendran is the key person in the functioning of Sai Agro Innovations. After 30 years of experience in the field of law, Adv Rema is determined to support the farmers, to overcome every legal obstacle that one might stumble upon.
The “SAI Amruth”, a domain of the trust that focuses on food processing is being planned and headed by Rema herself. This project is expected to be flagged off within the next one year. “SAI Justice” is also the brain child of Adv. Rema K P which strives to support the farmer with legal guidance and support they deserve.

Mr. Rohit Rajendran Menon
Mr. Rohit R Menon is the technical expert at Sai Agro Innovations and plays an inevitable role at exploring new paths of easing the farmer’s concerns in terms of technology. Mr Rohit is also the founder of Mask People Pvt Ltd, Mr. Rohit is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Energy engineering from Germany. His love for machines began at a very young age and his perseverance has taken him around the globe designing and competing in world class competitions.
Mr Rahul R Menon is also the founder and lead trainer at Mask People Pvt Ltd. a Theatre Arts company based in Bangalore. He has been into theatre since 18 years and is currently a counsellor as well as a theatre trainer and an artist. Mr. Rahul focuses on the social media presence of the trust and “SAI CARES” a platform that is committed towards uplifting the farmers’ mental health. Mr. Rahul is currently pursuing his PhD in Psychology at Christ University, Bangalore. Mr Rahul has been awarded with more than 18 certificates from various esteemed and recognised university across the globe.
