Dr. P. Rajendran

With over four decades of experience in agricultural research and institutional leadership, he has dedicated his life to demonstrating that sustainability and productivity can thrive side by side. A respected horticulturist, educator, and innovator, his work continues to influence generations of farmers, students, and researchers across the country.

A Commonwealth Fellow and Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Dr. Rajendran served as Associate Director of Research at Kerala Agricultural University and was instrumental in establishing the College of Agriculture, Wayanad. His pioneering initiatives, including the renowned Pooppoli International Flower Show, transformed local farming communities into centers of innovation and economic growth. Through Sai Agro Innovations, he continues to integrate advanced research, ecological stewardship, and social responsibility— creating a living model of sustainable agriculture where science meets the spirit of the soil.

Adv. Rema Rajendran

With more than ten years in litigation and legal practice, Adv. Rema Rajendran now directs multiple arms of the foundation. Through Sai Amrut, she oversees the creation of organic, value-added products from farm produce—illustrating the power of sustainable entrepreneurship. Under Sai Vidhya, she guides farmer-training workshops and awareness programs that blend knowledge with practical field experience. As head of Sai Justice, she extends vital legal support, documentation guidance, and rights-awareness to farmers, ensuring fairness and dignity across the agricultural landscape. Her work harmonizes law, livelihood, and learning—fostering an inclusive model of growth that benefits every stakeholder in the ecosystem.

Rohit Rajendran Menon

Rohit Rajendran Menon brings a fresh and forward-looking dimension to SAIRF’s mission through his strong background in energy engineering and sustainability. Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Energy Engineering in Germany, Rohit plays a key role in shaping SAIRF’s research and innovation roadmap. His expertise lies in renewable energy systems, farm automation, and sustainable resource management. By integrating global technological insights into local agricultural practices, he helps create practical, scalable solutions that empower farmers to adopt smarter, greener methods. His vision for SAIRF is to make every farm a self-sustaining, energy-efficient ecosystem — where science drives growth without compromising nature.
